These missions are defined in the law of April 1, 2020, which established the <em>Ombudsman for Children and Youth.<\/em><\/p>\n\n[\/col]\n[col span=&#8221;6&#8243; span__sm=&#8221;12&#8243; animate=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221;]\n\n<p class=\"highlight\"><strong>Promoting the rights of the child<\/strong> is a preventive mission.<\/p>\n<p>It includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advising individuals or legal entities on <span class=\"highlight02\">the implementation of children&#8217;s rights;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Raising <span class=\"highlight02\">children&#8217;s awareness<\/span> of their rights and <span class=\"highlight02\">public awareness<\/span> of children&#8217;s rights;<\/li>\n<li>Submission of an annual report to the Chamber of Deputies.
